Depression has me WAY down the rabbit hole.
Ive carried company cells back into the 90s.
I finally needed to get my own in Jan 2011.
Id had a Company Blackberry and loved it.
I got a used Blackberry and had unlimited Blackberry for 45/mo which was good.
In Feb 2016, Boost stopped their Blackberry servers, so the phone still worked, but no more mail.
After a month or two of tech support trying to reprovision my phone over and over to no avail,
I finally got a tech who knew what was happening and basically, the mail on the phone stopped becauses Boost was discontinuing Blackberry.
I bought my second cell in mig 2016, a ZTE Android.
I enjoyed it. One of the first things I did was get the whole rubber guard and holster for it.
Its been great, but last weekend, it started to die.
Thursday, it wanted to reboot and just never came back.
Boost couldnt revive it, so I ended up replacing it this weekend.
This was an expense I really could not afford, but if you want to find work in IT, you better have a cell.
Im getting used to an LG K51.
Meanwhile, El Cerrito had a surprise July 4 parade.
A small part of the crew from the usual July 4 festival set it up.
I was on traffic control, which meant that when we cleared an intersection, I had to run ahead to the next before it got there.
It was very short, almost no advertisement so as not to encourage gatherings.
All of us in the parage were masked.
I wore a middle eastern shemagh (I looked like a middle eastern terrorist)
Its been a very depressing few weeks, and miraculously, I was able to function in the parade.
Ill post later about the trip to Willits 2 weeks ago.
