Fire dancing at Nimby

texxgadgetSeems like forever Ive been told that I NEED to go to Burning Man.
Ive seen "Black Rock Dept Public Works" all around where my workshop is in Oakland.
I seem to be surrounded by "burners".
I recently heard about this artist collective 2 blocks from my shop.
Its called the NIMBY Warehouse.
On Sunday nights they have fire dancing.
I learned alot. Might even try it some day.
Put out 3 dancers who caught fire.
The flaming jumprope, broke and kinda made a mess.
Thunderstorm outside, numerous roof leaks pouring water.
There was something tribal about it.
A bunch of cold humans taking refuge in a dark cavern,
gathered around the fire and dancing.
I had a blast.
