texxgadgetGot paid today for my 1st 2 weeks.
Im no longer overdrawn at the bank, this is good.
Paid landlosr for my shopspace and got 1 storage unit paid up.
Started work on testing drives in another RAID tray.
Most of the stuff has been aquired on Ebay, Cthulu KNOWS where it
REALLY came from, although server godzilla has an Enron tag on it.
BayLISA had someone come talk about LDAP.
Lightweight Directory Access Protocol.
It was interesting enough but not useful to me.
I know what it is and whats it for.
WHat I wanted to know and he didnt tell us was,
"OK install it, then you do this"
We got the marketing crap but not the nuts & bolts.
Had a nice visit with a few colleagues but other than that and a soda,
Im not sure it was worth the gas to drive down there.
