After a full day of workshops on Sat, we hit the Cow Palace and in 1.5 hrs, broke down the pallet and assembles all but the front wall of the printshop.
It actually took all day Sunday to get the front wall up and all the fiddly bits, trim etc.
Several sections of the roof have been replaced, much plumbing replaced and additional ventilation installed.
Last year was the first time the place didnt turn into a sauna at 1pm.
The "Cow Palace Croup" was largely not present last year as a result of the ventilation.
I still came down with pneumonia final day of faire last year (tangerine orange snot and all)
This year the rafters were pressure washed, and the floor steam cleaned.
This year should be better.
They also installed 2 different water bottle filling stantions, complete with water filters.
A few things are moved around. Fortunately, we are in the same place as last year.
Lodema is back again. She was closed half of faire last year with a broken hip.
On Sunday, I helped close the front wall of "Mr Allan Jeffries" haberdashary.
Its a heavy booth that requires genii lifts and forklifts to assemble.
Rehearsal weekend will be load in for us. It will be a hard long weekend.
Fred broke his arm at the start of RenFaire.
Jeanie is moving well after joint replacement and a significant weight loss.
